Career Based Scholarships ( top )
The California Women's Conference Scholars Program is open to all female California residents completing their second-year in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year California college or university. (Click here for a flyer)
Requirements:
Applicants must be pursuing a bachelors degree in nursing, business, math or science, or special education (with plans to be a special education teacher); and must submit a one-page essay describing their community service involvement over the past two years.

Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship (up to $7,500 per academic year)
For juniors and seniors who will pursue career in mathematics, natural sciences, or engineering.
Requirements: must have at least "B" average, is a citizen or permanent resident

Bernarr J. Hall Scholarship (up to $4,000 per award)
For careers planned in California agriculture
Requirements: California Resident, min. GPA 3.2

For undergraduate students who will pursue careers in Veterinary medicine or agricultural science

Howard Walton Clark Prize in Plant Breeding and Soil Building ($2500 - one awarded each year)
Criteria: Annual prize to be given to the “senior student in the College of Agriculture whose high scholastic achievement, talent for independent research, and other characteristics, with particular reference to either plant breeding (leading to new/improved crops and new/improved varieties using appropriate tools) or soil building (leading to improving soil quality related to soil productivity and sustainability as a resource), seems to show the greatest promise.”

To provide financial assistance for undergraduate students majoring in environmental science, earth science, or a related field in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. Preference will be given to students with a research interest involving fire science.
